DESCRIPTION
FIND OUT WHAT THIS TRIP CONSISTS OF

Located in the far northeast of Portugal, Bragança is a city steeped in history and the traditions of the Trás-os-Montes region, combining the charm of its walled medieval center with the natural beauty surrounding the Montesinho Natural Park.

Located in the medieval citadel, the Iberian Museum of Masks and Costumes celebrates the rich cultural traditions of winter rituals and the Festas dos Rapazes (Festivals of the Boys) of Trás-os-Montes and Zamora, showcasing an impressive collection of traditional masks, colorful costumes, and accessories used in the traditions of Entrudo (Carnival) and Caretos (masked figures).

Hosted within the legendary Keep of Bragança Castle, the Bragança Military Museum presents a diverse collection of military equipment, antique weaponry, and historical artifacts that tell the story of the evolution of border defense and the city's strategic role throughout the centuries.

Located in the heart of the Montesinho Natural Park, the Vinhais Biological Park is a nature interpretation center ideal for families and biodiversity enthusiasts, offering hiking trails, rural accommodation, and the opportunity to observe up close various species of native flora and fauna of the region.

The traditional bullfights, part of the Trás-os-Montes festivities, offer an authentic and vibrant spectacle of rural culture, where the strength and bravery of the imposing male bulls of the Maronesa or Barrosã breed are tested in the arena before the enthusiastic local population.
